there are a few things i would change on it, but i'll make sure not to make those mistakes on the next one. (hey... there is sound!) Have a great weekend everyone :)
I remember in highschool that I stole a copy of Fahrenheit 451 from English class because it was such an awesome book. I am creating my own vision for the dystopian future that Ray Bradbury created many years ago.
(PS. I do not condone theft.... I meant to give it back after i had written the book report)
Monkeying around in colors. it’s fun because it’s limited in size, so it forces you to focus on the big picture more than details, though detail is possible. and it’s totally portable :). I really like Goro’s work on Gorilla Artfare . painterly and stylized. just more fun things that can be done to push the limits of art and what’s fun.
some figure drawing. it's fun to think about placement on the page. my friend Tonci... years ago... showed me a page of a book that really focused on that. it's something to always strive for... good composition in everything. still gotta work on mine. :)
So, I am exploring a different look for the characters. I think I like this more. It's more like... I am interpreting people as characters. As it should be :)
square paged sketchbook :). some of these pages are lying. in fact, all of these pages are lying. i probably just scanned a blank page and photoshopped the drawings onto them... or something. oh blog, you know how it goes... being all electrical and stuff.
so, i did this commercial when i was in school. i had storyboard it out, but i had to redo the storyboards... since i had lost them (working backwards from http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3035768226225460622 this video) thanks journal. you're the best
wow.. it's been a while since i shared anything with you, journal. Life has been pretty crazy. However, it's now all the rage to draw on your DS. I got the program before anyone on CA did tho :D. this is the common space of my place.
I updated my website (I gave in and renewed my hosting... my pocket still hurts). I just sat down and in a 3 hour burst came out with what you see here. It was as fun as I remember web design could be. (the image is the graphic on the left of my screen)
This is the world that has various locations that you can visit. There is the beehive on the right with the mutated bees and a brainwashed town surrounding it, an observatory, a junkyard, and a dead end. fun times lie ahead.
I visited home for a week, and now I'm back and recharged. I'm working on another screenshot/pitch material piece. I am spending more time thinking about what all of the pieces are (the previous beehive). this is the corner of the image :o).
